We in Toronto are currently enjoying Daylight Saving Time. It was first introduced during wartime as an effort to conserve fuel needed to produce electric power. We've been in Daylight Saving Time since April and I believe we should stay here. The Man says differently and has us returning to Standard Time at 02:00 this Sunday.

Standard Time is an old relic from the days when we were all farmers relying on the Sun to determine when we awake and when we literally hit the hay. It will take an hour of sunlight we'd experience in the evening and move it to the morning. I don't need an extra hour of sunlight in the morning, I need it in the evening when I can actually do something with it.

If we unite as one voice, we can do something about this. Standard Time is for suckers, resist adjusting your clocks this weekend. Daylight Saving Time Forever!
