A character on The Simpsons is coming out of the closet next season. Matt Groening himself dropped this bombshell but gave no clues as to which character it will be.
The obvious guess is Waylon Smithers who is as queer as a three dollar bill, but that's too easy, right? Assuming it's not Smithers, I'm guessing it's Aunt Patti as they've been dropping hints she's lesbian for a while now. Of course, it could easily be Skinner who has always triggered my gaydar.
I'm just happy to hear Springfield is going to legalize same-sex marriages. What a progressive city it is.
