The Transformers

Fresh from seeing a childhood hero on the big screen I've learned another fictional cartoon world I loved is being made into a movie. DreamWorks film company, co-founded by Steven Spielberg, will oversee the live-action movie, scheduled for release in summer 2006.
I was a big fan of The Transformers and even have the first several issues of their comic book in a box somewhere. I'm intrigued by the idea of making it a live-action movie instead of a cartoon. With DreamWorks behind it, I'm sure it will look good.
Who will play Sparkplug? I'd love to see James Gandolfini in the role.
