This song, Sound Of Free, Daryl Dragon wrote with Dennis Wilson (of The Beach Boys) is one of my favorites of all time.

@NG. C&T were never my cup of tea but DD did good backing work with the Beach Boys as well in the late 1960's and early 1970's. He can be seen in this video on piano and Dennis is on the other keyboard. There's a flubbed take in the middle of the video where they focus in on DD at around 5:39.

No joke, but all of my childhood sartorial choices were largely based on early and incessant viewership of The Captain and Tennille's awesome variety series. Somewhere in my personal archive there is an ancient photograph of your most humble 'dwllr73 proudly sporting a similarly-smashing Captain's hat. Oh,and no one else ever rocked a Clavinet with more skill and ease, well, other than Stevie W., perhaps. R.I.P.
