Humble and Fred Now On Funny 820 (CHAM-AM) Hamilton

Humble and Fred were cancelled by SiriusXM Canada this past summer, but they're back on terrestrial radio starting Monday at 7am as the new morning show on Funny 820 (CHAM-AM) Hamilton.

This is the first time Humble and Fred have been live on a terrestrial station you could get in the GTA since 2005 when they were the morning show at Mix 99.9. Then, Fred was fired, Humble was fired, there was a short-lived experiment on a Kingston station and the recent stint on satellite radio.

Will the boys remember how to suppress their swears? We'll find out Monday. I'll be making an appearance on their new show after 8am on Monday and then they'll visit my home studio for an episode of Toronto Mike'd.

Good Luck to the both losers.

Long time ago

I do listen at Funny 820 regularly.

Thankfully not at 7am. Boob & poop jokes got real old a long, long time ago.

Nobody listens to 820 out of Hamilton. It's a fact, you can look it up.

So there's really no risk here. It's not like listeners were tune out because of the boob and poop jokes.

But podcast listeners be warned. This move will have a negative impact on that content.

50-60 year old's acting like they're 20. Never ever liked them. Stale comedy if you can hear what they "perform".

@Anonymous I listen to 820 so somebody does . In my car at least. So not much lately.

I havent been listen to the podcast of late ,partly as i have been riding so much this summer and usually listen in the car and partly as I only have so much time and what little podcast listening I've been doing is reserved for Toronto Mike. And as I am not driving much even Toronto Mike is not getting much love.

Anyone else notice Humble and Fred lost 75% of their Twitter followers?

I loved listening to Funny 820 on my way to work, but not this week! Not sure why they would make this change. Not much 'funny' about these two. Disappointing.

Well, I guess if you can make the steel workers of Hamilton laugh, then you can bloody well
succeed anywhere!!! (MMM. perhaps I shouldn't generalize so much?). On a related note, if
anyone in the Hammer knows where I can get a good deal on some second-hand cement shoes, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please note, they would only be for my own personal use!!!! P.S., my brother
lived in Hamilton for nearly ten years. I gots nuthin' but mad love for the likes of Jackson Square
and its amazing Nations Fresh location. Not to mention, the last remaining Cheapies record store,

Listened to these 2 for 5 minutes , and had enough. Put the comedy back on , so we can laugh . This is a waste of 2 hours. This station should just run the comedians straight thru 24 hours. And get rid of these guys.

I'd rather they bring back Jesse and Gene.

Good morning gentlemen.
I have been listening to u on "my second favorite radio station" in the mornings
I was a little late this morning so I missed the first part of the show. Perhaps the person that was upset about the use of the Asian voice replacement was because of comments like the tiger wood statement which was definitely racist..

You were about to say he doesn't sound black

I agree we as a society have gotten way to PC. But there are people living in this city listening to you that have suffered because Thier accent was the first thing they were judged on. Oddly enough a lady said to me the other day what island are you from I can't hear an accent. I said I know most people from Nova Scotia do have a bit of one
