Blind Dave

I lost my Dad in1985. He would have been 100 this year and likely gone anyway, but I still miss him. He died two months shy of his 66th birthday to prostate cancer. Supposedly it had been caught early enough.

Luckily I had him around when I was a child. My parents had me later in life so I was 21 when he died. I never had a real adult relationship with him.

Please donate.

Beatts

My dad was diagnosed with Leukemia when I was 17 years old. He was given 1.5 years to live but thankfully he was stubborn and lasted 19 years before having a heart attack of all things.

My mother unfortunately was diagnosed a year later with lung cancer that quickly spread to her brain and bones. She passed soon after. (both in their 60's)

Good job Mike, I hope you far exceed your goal

My condolences to all who have lost a loved one to this horrible disease.

Cancer is an unrivalled cunt (that's the other C word).

I've had my tangles with it. It's beyond horrid.

Since my child is starting his MA next week, it'll be a small and humble donation,

I'm a fortunate survivor for 21 years. Went through hell for 2 months with young kids not knowing if they would have a Dad in their future.
Responders & podcasters to Toronto Mike, please donate to this worthy cause.

Someday, Someday they may be a cure.
