So sad to here. On some of the Frazier episodes, many of the bigger laughs were generated by his Martin Crane character. RIP

Wow! Just yesterday morning, I was at work, and I was going downstairs to open up a bottle of Coke Zero. I was muttering aloud, "Time for some Pop-pi-de-pop-pi--de-pop-pop". Then I got to thinking about the episode of Frasier where I heard that from:

So I was thinking to myself, "Gosh, Marty Crane's got to be getting older now, since Frasier's been off for what? Fifteen years? I wonder how long John Mahoney will be around".

That today - this !!!

He's one of those guys who showed up in a lot of things, but until he was on Frasier I didn't realize just how often he appeared in films and shows I'd watched. And he was always a treat.

And a great jingle writer. "Beer and pretzels, that's our game. C-H-E-R-S."

That's too bad, Fraiser was a staple in our house growing up, and I always enjoyed the Martin character.

I enjoy my rewatching of Frasier. It's a great show that I love and Martin Crane was a big reason for a lot of the laughs.

Thank you John for the memories. We will miss you.
