What a different time to be a Canadian Olympics fan. When I was a kid, we'd hope for the odd bronze or silver. In the past few winter games, we've become beasts. I'm glad the COA focuses on the winter rather than the summer, because why be mediocre at both when you can excel in one of them.

Yeah, the own the podium plan for Vancouver has definitely payed dividends for Olympic achievement. Definitely nice to see Canada being one of the leading nations for Winter Olympics now. It would be nice to see greater success in the summer games, but we are a winter nation so we should be cleaning up here!!
