Arthur Black, Dead at 74

Arthur BlackArthur Black was 74. He was the humourist who hosted Basic Black on CBC Radio for 19 years and won the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour three times.

Wow, you actually had someone with integrity and talent come to your school as a kid!(R.I.P.)
All my late grade school class got was a visit from two-thirds of Sharon, Lois and Bram (only
one of the two lovely ladies showed up, oddly can't remember which one), and I was well
past the point of caring by then!! Oh, and as I've posted before, drunk Uncle Bobby was a
regular school bus driver to my fine institution of lower learning!
