For many years, I did not have much of a choice when it came to listening to Wally Crouter - and CFRB in general, as that was the station that was almost always on the radio when my parents had it on, in the car or at home. As I think back and remember what I can, he was one of the very best in radio - any format. Fifty years as the morning man. It's a safe bet that nobody will ever break that record, in any media, channel or format.

I can't pay better tribute to a Toronto radio legend than you have. He is Wally Crouter. Best pipes in the city in his day. He will be missed.

Same in my dad's truck - always CFRB. I grew up with those voices.

RIP, Wally. I hope you had a great life.
