Must have been difficult for her during the countless GOP debates this century where every single candidate had to state his Ronald Reagan bona fides, despite the fact their neocon policies at home and abroad had literally nothing in common with RR's. No chance if he ran today he'd get the nom...he'd be behind Kasich and ahead of Carson. Neo-cons destroyed the GOP's legitimacy with the trillions wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan only to increase terrorism. Best thing DT did so far was to point out the disaster of Bush's war on terror which was to invade and occupy instead of striking back at those responsible,

She was married to a guy who said the child-marrying warlords in Afghanistan who wanted to destroy universities for girls (among other things) were the equivalent to 'Our Founding Fathers.'

She was married to a guy who said (after the students at Kent State were gunned down in cold-blooded murder) 'If they want a bloodbath, let's get it over with' (referring to the students acting on their constitutional rights to protest an unpopular war).

@Mike's photo
If Alex P. Keaton and the Knight Rider were included, it'd equal 10 000 words describing the 80s

A great person, the world is not as strong today as it was yesterday. Regardless of political views, she was and always will be an ICON.
