Wayne Rogers, Dead at 82

Wayne RogersWayne Rogers was 82. His Trapper John character on M*A*S*H was my very favourite in that excellent series.

Loved MASH, was a staple for me in the 80's to watch. I liked Trapper far more than Honey Cut.

Wayne regretted leaving the show when he did. He was, like Rick said , way more entertaining than Alda, who seemed to take over the entire show. 82? they are all getting up there.

@JJ, saw a documentary regarding the making of MASH and the original creators family hated the left leaning slant Alda's character had taken. He purposely had written it to be neutral and for more comedic value, not political or he would have placed it in Vietnam instead.

RIP Wayne.

One of my all-time favourite characters of any show, ever.

I enjoyed finding Rogers' other TV series, Stagecoach West a few years ago via RTV formerly channel 2.2.
