So many great tunes. Bought Best of the Eagles in 1973 I think and wore out the grooves so badly I had to buy another copy. One of the greats in my life.

I would also recommend this doc which is available in parts on You Tube.
'Hotel California: L.A. from The Byrds to The Eagles..

https://youtu.be/HyIleDCJ7G0

Traces the country rock California sound from the Byrds, Buffalo Springfiled to their off shoots such as The Flying Burrito Brothers. The Eagles had a direct link to that earlier lineage. Very well done and interesting doc. Based on a book by Barney Hoskyns who wrote for Mojo - the last great rock mag.
