Cycling: November 2014 vs. November 2013

Cycling: November 2014 vs. November 2013I record all my bike rides. Here is how my cycling in November 2014 compared to November 2013.

November 2014: 434.26 km

November 2013: 297.89 km

I'm rather pleased with myself, because in November 2013 I was biking every weekday, training for the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Most of this increase was because I added about 5 km to my daily ride.

Based on the above, and similar posts in the past, I have concluded Mike that you are in general, much, much more organized than me, and likely the average person as well.

A lot of people talk about getting in shape but in reality they might workout once, pull a hammy and never do it again. Not only do you do the exercise, but you create charts. Fucking charts. Colour coded fucking charts. And then you compare them year after year to track progress.

Good for you Mike. I'm surprised That Shoe Company With The Horizontal Logo hasn't advertised here yet.

@Ryan G

I'm holding out for a big bicycle company.

Jamis? Giant? Trek? Who wants to outfit this guy's rides?

You need to support the Cnadian bike companies - Cervelo and MEC.

Oops, that "Canadian."

Absolutely - I will accept the endorsement from a Canadian bike company.

MEC bikes are "designed in Canada", that's about it. Cervelo at least does a lot of R&D here.

That said, I don't know that a single non-boutique manufacturer actually builds frames in North America.

Toronto Mike,

Off-hand, I'd recommend you look at a Kona Jake, or Jake the Snake if you're feeling spendier. I think you'd like a CX bike of some variety a lot anyway.
