So as per McNulty,
Does every team member get a medal, and why does Jennifer Jones get all the media hype and credit when it is a team game.
Great questions McNulty , can anyne answer them?

Yes, every team member, including the 5th gets a medal. I believe even the coach gets one too if memory serves me well

The skip gets all the credit because they are the leader of the team and the team is always named after the skip. It's tradition from what I've been told but I have no idea who started it.

Jones gets all the media hype because it's her name on the team, same as the men and all other teams that play the sport. She also curled like a boss this week, her team was great, but she was incredible.

Team members that join teams know the drill, and they certainly aren't upset about it and if they are, they wouldn't publicly say so… they're Canadian!!

Helluva week of women's curling… can't wait for the men's final tomorrow and the Brier in a few weeks. Kamloops will be awesome in a few weeks.

Cheers,

Andrew

Thanks. It still doesn't make much sense. But there are traditions that l will never understand.
