Glad your having a good time. I've always wondered what will happen when the tides rise with grocal warming.

Mike, have you bought one of those twirly, helicopter lights yet from the street vendors? Or how about one of the rubber balls that flatten when you throw them on the ground and then regrow into a ball?

Can't leave Venice without one.

It was far, far worse in Rome. In Rome it's not just the helicopter lights guys and the rubber balls that flatten guys, it's the silk guys and the rose guys and the "take a photo with me" guys.

Venice is tame by comparison!

It floods every year when the tide rise. They've spent the past 10 years working on a new system to prevent flooding and it just passed the first test earlier this week.

It's a billion dollars or something like that, and with Italy's economy in the toilet, some folks are pissed at the cost.

Nice try Venice. You got nothin' on the authentic canal system in Las Vegas. Plus in Vegas you can get out of your boat and walk right into a Banana Republic.
