Not sure why, but I've never liked Woody Allen movies. His nervous anxiety annoys me. The exception is Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex (But Were Afraid To Ask). Watching a giant tit terrorize people was hilarious - of course, I was eleven when I saw that movie.

1990 is my cut-off year for Woody Allen movies. Those movies do not hold my attention.

He remains popular with those in the industry (excepting Mia Farrow). But for the average moviegoer I believe that he has lost his relevance.

Toronto Mike Verified as the defacto Toronto Mike

Midnight in Paris was pretty awesome...

He's still good, just not as consistent.

Crimes and Misdemeanors is when I got off the bus...Very dark. Maybe if it was made by someone other than Woody Allen

I tried to recapture his past with Bullets over Broadway and it worked but still somewhat dark.

I agree that he is inconsistent.
