Oops! Sorry, I received three timeout messages. Mike feel free to remove two of my Pittsburgh posts!

Vancouver. Look for Luongo to get the Conn Smyth.

Oh, and there will be riots too.

I just rebooted the server. I will keep the multiple posts to remind me of this failure.

Rarely do the 2 'best' teams meet, but I really think Chi vs Pitt is inevitable.
However...I'll take St Louis as a wildcard.

Most likely Stanley Cup winners:

1. Chicago
2. Pittsburgh
3. Anaheim

On a sad note the New York Jets released Tim Tebow.... Mark Sanchez threw Tim Tebow a going away party, however it was returned for a touchdown. J E T S Jets Jets Jets!

Jamie...I like this one better....Sanchez threw Tebow a going away party, it was intercepted and returned for a touchdown.

Anyway, I think it is going to be Pittsburgh.

My upset pick to be eliminated in the first or second round is Chicago.

The Leafs!!!!!

Probably not eh??...

I'd look for the Rangers to make some noise, there's too much talent on that team to fizzle out...I think we all recall the Kings limped into the playoffs last year and won it all....

Here's the calm before the draft storm:

Argie

Its quaint, Mike.

I would say the three-word-response by Argie is a hijacked response.

As to who wins? Not Toronto (sadly), Montreal, Boston or Ottawa. I'd probably say Chicago will actually win.

Chicago is too good. They'll take the cake this year.

Anybody but Toronto!!! The sooner this season ends the better. Hockey sucks along with all the Leaf bullshit foisted upon the media to no end. Who would pay $$$$$$$$ to actually attend this 4th tier sport? Oh, I know....Cheryl and her hockey puck ilk. Suckers!!!!!

April 29, 2013 @ 5:02 PM

For the first four games I will be sticking with the Leafs. After the sweep I will switch to Washington.

I like the Seals chances this year. Their jazzy yellow skates are so pretty.

We had our draft last night....I stuck with Pitts, St Louis, Boston, Anaheim and some odd Vancouver and Minnesota players in the late rounds.

If yours is a player draft stick with your strategy of staying to a few teams, and try to pick the upsets.

The West is easy to predict, the East is all over the map and anything could happen

I'd love it if Luongo (minus the riots) got the cup. He's a class act and he deserves it.

Barring that, I'd say PIT in the east and STL in the west.

As Gateway Grocery does not have a team, I figure a Chicago-Pittsburgh final.

Although I'd love the see the TV execs jumping out of windows if the finals were something like Minnesota-Ottawa.

@ NW - If we end up with a Minnie/Ottawa final, I think Bettmans head might explode....

Ducks vs Bruins. Boston strong!!

Habs all the way. Go Habs. PK Subban is going to score tons. Can't wait until Thursday when my Habs play. The Leafs won't win. They have no chance. Leafs will get swept.

April 30, 2013 @ 6:15 PM

Cheryl's Trainer

Now now Cheryl...you know that's not true. The Habs are going to get beaten like Smitherman at election time.

....and for the last time, I play shuffleboard damnit!

April 30, 2013 @ 10:09 PM

Cheryl

You're not my trainer. My trainer likes the Habs and he likes George Smitherman. He really does curling. He doesn't play shuffleboard. I want to know who is pretending to be my trainer. I have no idea who it is, but go away. Go Habs.
