Ann Landers is a boring old biddy.

Yeah, Ann was a bit bland and boring.

Abby was much more sarcastic and flippant.

It seems strange to me that these deaths even get covered. Not to sound harsh, but for how many years has Dear Abby been out of the public consciousness? I had already forgotten about the existance of "Dear Abby", "Dear Ann" and Conrad Bain for that matter, so if I had never been told they were dead, it would have made no difference to me.

@519 Rob

I don't think I could miss a reference from the first 8 seasons.

I've watched every episode so many times, even with the director's commentary, and me and the kids are going through them each in order now.

I shed a tear last night when Abe's girlfriend died of a burst ventricle. You can say she died of a burst ventricle, but we all know she died of a broken heart.

Mike, Those first 8-10 seasons were gold. I don't catch The Simpsons as often as I used to, and when I do, they aren't as funny. But they still do the occasional good one too.
As far as animation goes, I am big on Bobs Burgers right now.
