Instead of being helpful and insightful, this time I'll just live-tweet the podcast. @lornekates #torontomiked (minus one or two I forgot to hashtag)

Awesome, I get a shout out on the podcast! Glad Rosie like the pic. We do have steak, beef steak, but it's only in a few states and my state is one such.

But Hindus do believe the cow to be sacred, right?

You're kidding, right?

The nice thing about Twitter is following is completely optional.

It's like complaining you don't like the program on channel 9. Just turn the damn station!

I guess its like crack cocaine - its not for me but the next guy might like it.

That analogy sucks. How about this one:

Twitter is like Arrested Development. Lots of people love it, but most people haven't seen a minute of it and don't desire to ever give it a viewing.

The inspiration for the title of this podcast. :)

What was the over / under on # of podcasts?

I hope you picked the over.

Congrats on #20, another good one!

@Argie: You're just jealous you didn't think of it first.

I didn't like A.D. either. Funny you should mention that show, I was watching the Office recently and commented to wife (yes folks, I'm married) that this show has become "as unfunny as Arrested Development" - meaning, there isn't much of a plot, just a bunch of silliness by weird, off the wall characters. That becomes old and tired very fast.

I'm sorry you guys didn't appreciate Arrested Development.

It's one of my favourite comedies of all-time.

@TorontoMike - yes the cow is considered to be sacred. But in some states like Kerala, where I am from, Goa and I guess most North Eastern states beef is readily available. You won't get beef in Hindu majority states - it was recently banned in two big states like Madhya Pradesh & Karnataka. In my state I think 50% of Hindus won't eat meat due to religious/cultural reasons. I do eat beef and am an atheist. But I do prefer white meat over red.

To answer my son's question, the gold medal game would be 8:00 am EST on Saturday, January 5.
