Alex Karras, Dead at 77

In MemoriumAlex Karras was 77. He was a defensive lineman and four-time Pro Bowl selection who played for the Detroit Lions from 1958 to 1970, went on to star in the 1980s sitcom “Webster” and also played the horse-punching Mongo in the 1974 movie “Blazing Saddles".

Jeez...this is a little eerie.
A few days ago, a few friends and I were discussing 80's sitcoms, and Webster came up. No one was sure if he or his wife were still alive.
So we looked it up on IMDB, and turned out to be all good.
Very sad to hear though, Blazing Saddles in an ALL-TIME classic.
