play Rosy And Grey - Lowest of the Low
Shakespeare My Butt... came out in 1991. It wasn't just a decent independent release by a Toronto band, it was incredible. It remains one of my ten favourite Canadian albums of all-time.

CFNY played the crap out of "Salesmen, Cheats and Liars", "Eternal Fatalist", "Bleed a Little While Tonight" and "Henry Needs a New Pair of Shoes", so I'm sharing something a little different.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the song that will start my podcast.

And for those that having nothing to do tonight, please join The Lowest of The Low at the outdoor ArtPark stage in Lewiston, NY. Should be a great night... can't wait to see them.

Cheers!

I saw these guys play in Whitby on Saturday. The venue was so close to home, it was tough to not go. This song is my "earworm" today; I'll "blame" it on being at the concert. Ron Hawkins and Steven Stanley play all out, whether it is for a large audience or not. I think Lowest of the Low still hold the Canadian record for most copies sold for a purely independent release. Rightly so, IMHO.

Just got home from the Low concert at Lewiston's ArtPark and WOW... the boys still have it. Great crowd of around 3000 - give or take and they sounded just like they did all those years ago. I picked up a copy of the 20th re-mixed version of Shakespeare and can't wait to see the DVD that Dave produced.

Good times had by all for a solid 2 hours.
