The Leafs Official Twitter Feed and What It Could Learn From the Kings

The Leafs Official Twitter Feed and What It Could Learn From the KingsThe Maple Leafs' official Twitter feed isn't bad. It's informative and engaged, and it says "cheers" a lot. It practically has a personality...

But then there's the Los Angeles Kings' official Twitter feed. Now it has personality, and even likes to trash talk.

Here's their infamous taunting of Canucks fans following their win in round one.

And this one is fresh...

If we ever have a reason to be so brash, I'm hoping the Leafs' Twitter account takes a cue from the Kings and becomes as fun. If you can't lighten up on Twitter, what's the point of being there?

Who is more of Canada's team? The Kings or Rangers? The Kings, by a hair, in my opinion.

The Kings have been around a long time without winning the cup, but so have the Blues. Phoenix at one time was in Winnipeg, so they'll probably Canada's team.

You missed my point. LA beats the Canucks and the Rangers beat the Sens. Does anyone like those teams outside of those cities (or those who are from there)? LA's tweet was accurate - they did us a favour.

@elvis

I did miss your point.

I'm proud of both the Kings and Rangers.

I don't care for any of the teams left in the east. Wanted both Phoenix and Nashville to get far, but they ended up meeting in the 2nd round. And, besides Phoenix and Nashville, every other team I was cheering for got bounced. Vancouver, Ottawa, Pittsburg, and Florida.

So look on the bright side; one of your teams will get through to the third round!
