9th Blogaversary

birthdayIt was nine years ago today that I changed my personal home page into a blog. In the world of blogging, nine years is actually pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. The vast majority of your favourite blogs started well after November 30, 2002.

How did you find this blog?

headsup

I came across your blog one day while trying to search for some old school Blue Jays songs. Growing up, I had the casettes from 1991-93. They were epic then, and still epic today. I looked around at a few other entries and liked what I was reading about, so I have kept coming back. Thanks for keeping this going. Your blog is always worth a couple minutes out of my day. Happy blogaversary!

I found this blog through a google search to do with a radio news story. Turns out we share a lot of common interests, namely sports and radio/media.

Hey Mike,
I found your website when I googled either "what happened to Humble and Fred" or "what happened to Humble Howard".

I honestly don't remember how I stumbled upon the site. It was probably a google search for the Leafs of Jays. But I do know I've been reading for a number of years now.

I remember that story well. In fact, it's pretty fun to go back and read the comments at http://www.torontomike.com/2008/11/sundin_trashes_toronto_exclusi.html in retrospect.

Of course, Mats never retired a Leaf, and we were right.

Way to go, Mike!

I made my way to your blog via Freddie P's blog. Been a regular ever since. I enjoy the variety of content here - most recently, the guest post by the unemployed person over 50.

You're doing a great job!

Congrats on 9 years. That really is a long time for a blog. I just hit 8 last month myself.

I found you through Freddie, who I found again while flipping stations a couple of years ago and landing on Q's morning show where he was a guest. He mentioned his FreddieP.ca blog and through reading that I saw mentions of you, checked out a few of your posts and the rest is history.

Here's to 9 more years...if that's what you feel like doing, of course.

I think I first visited your site around 2004-05. I can't remember but yours is the blog that I've read the longest and one of the first that I started reading.
