Back in August 2007, I wrote a little about what it's like being a Mike. If you're a 30-something guy named Mike, you know exactly what I'm talking about. There are Mikes everywhere.
Sitting in on the Humble and Fred podcast last week, there were a few moments when it was Humble, Fred and three Mikes in the room. No, not mics, but Mikes. Everyone's a Mike, which means everyone's a Michael.
The shorter version of this PS3 ad has been getting a lot of play lately, at least during the sports I've been watching on television. Sports is now pretty much the only thing I watch on actual television, but that's another entry. This one is about Michael.
If you're a Michael, I'll bet you got the chills I get when that ad airs. I've only seen these Sony ads targeting the one male name, but that likely hits 31% of their target audience.
After all, there are a lot of Mikes out there.
