Some of our children might not even know the first thing.

Toronto Mike Verified as the defacto Toronto Mike

That's true. I have a 9 year old and a 7 year old and I doubt they've ever seen one.

Maybe I should show them some of my old cassette tapes...

And show them how they link. I'll admit, it's been so long that I had to think about it ever so briefly before I remembered.

Took me a second too. At first it was, "Duh, you write the name of your mixtape on the cassette label." But then I realized the true significance. :)

I miss mixtapes.

I may be old(er) but I got it right away. Tapes and so much more will be in many a museum soon!

Most of the time the pencil did the trick. Sometimes flipping the tape over and re inserting worked. The rest of the time you just pulled out all the tape just see how much tape was really in that plastic container.

does everyone remember being freaked out and embarrassed by the sound of their recorded voice being played back? and i think there might be an old tape or two at my mom's house and i'm scared of what might be on it.
mixtapes WERE awesome.
