Mark McAllister's Minor Medical Issue

tvGlobal News Toronto reporter Mark McAllister suffered what's being described as a "minor medical issue" while live on the air Monday night.

Here he is, struggling to speak about defence minister Peter MacKay.

He's been back on the air since and claims to be feeling fine. Here's hoping that moment of disorientation wasn't caused by anything serious.

It might have been something related to a stroke-I hope that somebody recognized the signs and can deal with it quickly, otherwise he could be dead soon.

Yikes...that looked a little scary to me. I hope they checked him thoroughly. That did not look minor to me.

Looks like a TIA, sometimes called a mini-stroke though there's sweet FA mini about it. Its damn serious.

Is it a symptom of stroke? Could it be a mini-blackout due to high pressure or sugar problems?

@Rob - I'm pretty sure Mark was a personality on YTV back in the late 80s - mid 90's.

Looks to me like the teleprompter broke.
