Charlie Sheen a Fascinating Quotation Machine

quotesThis public unveiling of Charlie Sheen's insanity is fascinating. Now don't get me wrong, mental illness is not funny and if Sheen is manic, and I'm sure he is, I hope he gets proper treatment, but...

The Charlie Sheen quotes from his recent gush of interviews are spectacular. Here are a couple of my favourites.

I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available. If you try it once, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.

I'm tired of pretending I'm not special. I'm tired of pretending I'm not a total bitchin' rock star from Mars.

i love charlie sheen and whatever comes out of his trap.

it's almost like he's hired a writer to come up with wacky things to spout out.

one day in the future when he's dead (like, next month for example), we'll look back at those quotes and wonder - was he a nutbar, a genius, or both?

go chuck go!

Here's his GMA appearance. He's bi-winning, not bi-polar.

Boon, I came here specifically to ask you if you've seen Sheen's twitter. It's verified, he has a huge number of followers, but seemingly he has never tweeted a single word. I love it

Craig Ferguson spoke about Charlie Sheen during his opening monologue the other night. You'd expect nothing less from a late-night talk show host, right? Except that this time he compared it to people paying a penny to peek and laugh at inmates at the Bedlam Asylum in London, circa the 18th century. So he's decided to cease and desist. One might think this has to do with him being an employee of CBS, but he's rather enjoyed poking fun at Charlie Sheen before.

To paraphrase Ferguson, if a late-night talk show host thinks that you're really in need of help, you're REALLY in need of help.
