Pat Robertson Explains the Haiti Disaster

crossAs many as 100,000 may die from the earthquake in Haiti. Haiti's infrastructure was poor before this natural disaster, the tragic consequence of poverty and corruption, and now there is both chaos and devastation.

The world must help Haiti, even if they did make a deal with the devil. Literally. Just ask Rev. Pat Robertson.

If God is so great with all that omnipotence and such, you'd think he'd find a loophole in this deal Haiti struck with Satan. Luckily for Haiti, Pat Robertson is here to pick up the pieces. Bless his ignorant and insensitive heart.

So have all the people of Haiti after the "deal" was struck become bound to this deal? Holy smokes, if it is with the people of Haiti and not the land, that means when a person from Haiti comes to Canada, we would become legally bound to the same damn deal of damnation!

And can we get a right of refusal of any deal the Conservatives may have on the table with the Devil?

I don't know about you, but I'm starting to boil water!

Rush Limbaugh also made some ridiculous comments yesterday. He suggested Obama reacted quickly to this to gain political points with black people.

Both will be bunkmates in hell.

What a douche.

I have a lot of respect for Rush Limbaugh but he's really stupid there.

Dizzy, did you leave the prefix Dis off respect when referring to Douchebaugh?

The sad part about it, Robertson is really good at picking out verses from and referring to the Old Testament which as all Christians should know is not their book, the Christian book is the New Testament the Jews use the Old Testament because they can handle the gorey, nasty, bastard God portrayed in the old testament without taking it literally.

Buffalo Mike,

Actually you are partly right. However, many orthodox Jews do in fact take the old testament (the Torah to them), quite literally.
