My Son Will Play During the Leafs Game Next Saturday

HockeyI wrote about Learn to Play Hockey with the Swansea Hockey Association before. My son wrapped up his second and final year in the program this morning and we got some great news. My boy will be one of the Timbits playing during the first intermission of next Saturday's Maple Leaf game at the ACC.

I don't know who is more excited, James or me, but I'll bet it's me. We'll spend the first period in the dressing room, he'll play his little game and then we'll watch the rest of the Leafs ~ Oilers game from some sweet seats.

It's his last hurrah as a Timbit. I hope he's sharp next week, I know there'll be scouts watching.

Awesome. Much like my son played Baseball at "Skydome" 4 or 5 years before a Jays game. After their game a lot of the Jays greeted them.
Good luck.

Toronto Mike

I always knew my son would play hockey at the ACC one Saturday night, I just didn't think it would happen this early in his career.

As for the CN Towers... it was the worst team I ever played for, and I loved it.

Hey, maybe your kid will play for the Leafs one day and captain the winning Stanley Cup team! On that day, although I hate to say it, I'll cheer for the Leafs.
