A Closer Look at the EZ Rock 97.3 Playlist

Radio I once took A Closer Look at the Edge 102 Playlist and with the big news from Humble Howard, I thought I'd take a closer look at the EZ Rock 97.3 playlist.

I'll be checking out Humble's new show, but like many of you who loved him on 102.1, I'm not really a Celine Dion kind of guy. My plan is to listen to the chatter and vacate for 3.5 minutes when the Barry Manilow comes on. But really, how bad could it be?

Here's the most recent songs played on EZ Rock and my personal rating of each tune. 10 is best, 1 is worst. When you see a question mark that means I don't know the tune by name.

It's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. There was no Celine and we got a little BNL, Sarah Mclachlan and No Doubt from Tragic Kingdom.

Not terrible taken individually... When you've got to listen to all that non-stop though, ugh.

This is a fragile matter that really shouldn't be handled without wearing gloves. Go scub your hands.

This also goes to prove what I was I think the first one to point out, the ratio to good/tolerable songs probablly isn't that bad. The most we'll have to turn away is maybe 3 mins.. and who knows.. maybe they'll tweak a bit more to my liking if I promise to buy more femininie products and soccer balls..

look, if you could take out the Gloria Esteban, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Barry manilow, elton john and Celine Dion, well first there would only be two artists left.....but leave the BNL, Sarah Mclachlan and Cardigans Id take that.
Maybe theyll let Howard choose a bit more manly playlist for old listeners.
maybe just maybe howard can get the old christmas spectacular goin again and get BNL back

Buffalo Boy, the only problem with letting HH choose the tunes is that all the Steely Dan will scare the chicks away.

Besides, I don't think DJs have chosen the tunes since Venus Flytrap.

That's because they're not DJ's anymore. They're 'Radio Personalities'. :)

'personalities'?! please. maybe howard is but that doesn't apply to the most of the generic broadcasters in toronto radio

hopefully past 6:30 they'll let him speak a little more, and not-so-much on the tunes

too many songs on man!!!!
