Best Thing About Weekends

coffeeWeekends rule for a variety of reasons. On a Saturday, I don't have to visit the office. That means my wife will brew us kick ass coffee in a French press. That relaxing Saturday and Sunday morning coffee might just be the best thing about weekends.

The office has fresh coffee as well, but it's office coffee, and understandably inferior. Taryn's got the French press down to a fine art and I'd never go back to the old drip brew again.

Here's our French press in action. This amount gives us each one massive cup and starts the day off right.

Out of curiosity, would it be possible for you to post instructions on how to get the perfect French Press brew?

Toronto Mike

1. Boil 4 cups of H2O in a kettle
2. Put 14 teaspoons of President's Choice Regular Grind 100% Aribica coffee into French press
3. Pour boiling water into French Press and stir with wooden spoon
4. Put top on French press and wait about 3-4 minutes
5. Plunge and pour!

The french press was the best part of Friday, when I (and more than half my office) all decided to work from home to avoid the dangerous weather. IT truly is great.
