SPN Qualifier Tournament Update

baseballThey bill it as "the largest co-ed SPN qualifier tournament in the west end". Some call it the "16th Annual RSPA/Stripes Slo-Pitch Tournament". I call it "how I spent my entire Saturday".

I checked in at Diamond Beach headquarters at 8am and spent the day playing ball at Max Ward Park and Diamond Beach, which is the fancy name for Centennial Park. We won the opener, lost our second game and won our closer to qualify for the playoffs. Our first round robin playoff game is tomorrow morning.

It really was a perfect day for ball. It was warm, but not too hot. There was a pleasant breeze and lots of sun. Here's hoping tomorrow is just as perfect and the day concludes with a tournament victory for Raging Storm.
