A Movie ReelClick: 5 out of 10.

When the best thing about a movie is the soundtrack, you're in trouble. There was some Cars and Kinks, a number of old school guilty pleasures, a Cranberries gem and a fantastic cut from The Strokes. The movie itself was formulaic and boring. You could spot the ending from a mile away and the gigantic leaps of logic you're asked to take are just too extreme.

I remember when Adam Sandler was one funny mofo. Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer were all fun, but now his comedies are anything but funny. I think the guy should give up trying to recapture that genie in a bottle and abandon comedy altogether. He's now a better serious actor, believe it or not.

I disagree Mike, Anger Management had me in stitches, Mr. Deeds was awesome too and 50 first dates was great. There is plenty of room for good comedy. True it seems as if the same people are in each but each also has its own little twist and is funny in its own way. At least we know what to expect out of him and you know you are going to laugh. Yes he has had a few stinkers but the one try he did make at a semi serious movie was Spanglish and that was awful Im sorry Awful that deserved a capital A.

Toronto Mike

I thought Mr. Deeds sucked, Anger Management was mediocre and 50 First Dates was barely tolerable.

I've never seen Spanglish...

A bad comedy that had me questioning him for the first time in his career, Robin Williams in RV....Now that compared to the above Sandler movies...makes those look like oscar winners.

And why did everyone think Reign Over Me was going to be good? I smelt that stinker a mile away?
FYI: Grandma's Boy is right up there with Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, only Sandler isin't in that one, everyone else is.
