Has CNet forgotten Wonder Boy? Tom-Tom was heavily armed with a stone hammer and we weren't afraid to use it. And lest we forget Drancon, he was one tough mofo. He didn't hesitate to use fireballs or lightning bolts against poor skater boi Tom-Tom.
Wonder Boy easily ranks in the top five, although I haven't really played video games that weren't sports related since I finished the Legend of Zelda.
