Snow Patrol

snowflakeAt around 4pm this afternoon, I looked out the window and saw snow. Note to self, date of first snow spotting: October 12.

We didn't have snow flurries in the 416 last year until November 17. The year before, it was November 8. Today's snowfall only lasted a few minutes and it sure didn't stick around, but it's only October 12.

Freaky.

Being on vacation this week I was to have a tee off time tomorrow at 9:30am. I don't think so. Yesterday in shorts & short sleeve shirt working in the backyard. Looking outside the last hour today, snow is staying on the ground & the kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow.
Last year the earliest in my neck of the woods for snow was Oct. 22.
The prediction supposidely is for a warmer winter with less snowfall - TAKE A LOOK OUTSIDE.
