Yesterday I wrote that the Leafs were finished with Mikael Tellqvist. Confidence in the back up was lost, confidence in Jean-Sebastien Aubin has soared and it's highly unlikely the Leafs will head into next season with both Tellqvist and Aubin.
Tellqvist got his first start in ten games yesterday and allowed six goals on 40 shots. He's 10-11-2 on the season with a 3.13 GAA and .895 save %. Those numbers are pretty darn similar to Ed Belfours who is 22-22-4 with a 3.29 GGA and .892 save %. Aubin, on the other hand, is 8-0-2 with a 2.14 GGA and .926 save %. Farewell Telly, you've played your last game as a Leaf.
