Nemo died April 13, 2006.
Arriving February 25, 2006, Nemo was only in our lives for a short time, but he touched each and every one of us. Named for the subject of the recent Pixar film "Finding Nemo", his enthusiastic spirit and love for aquatics was an inspiration to us all.
Nemo is survived by his tank-mate Goldie, who has pledged to bravely swim forward while never forgetting his brief but powerful friendship with Nemo.
James, proud owner of both Nemo and Goldie, said goodbye to his first pet in a lovely toilet flushing ceremony last night. He misses his friend, but understands he's in a better place like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Anakin Skywalker before him.
Farewell, Nemo. You will be missed.
