Maple Leafs 5, Canadiens 3

LeafsFacts are facts, with Ben Ondrus in the lineup, the Leafs are undefeated. He played his first career NHL game and we won an essential four-pointer. It's amazing what can happen when your best players play as if they're your best players. Ed Belfour and Mats Sundin played well and Tomas Kaberle recorded a career high four points and guess what? We actually won a game.

Although I'm very happy we won and see we're just six points back, we have two teams to leap frog and have to sustain this effort throughout the next twenty games. I don't believe this team is capable of doing that. Furthermore, I fear the win last night will fool management into thinking we're buyers and not sellers. There's little chance they'll do the right thing and gut the pig now. Sometimes a big win is actually a huge loss.
