Maple Leafs 3, Hurricanes 2

LeafsThat's what I'm talkin' about. That's exactly what I'm talkin' about. We came out with intensity, built a lead and managed to secure victory even when Carolina scored two goals in the third to tie things up. Hell yeah.

I was doing some major scoreboard watching last night, and it appeared Montreal and Atlanta were both going to lose. Montreal did lose, but the Thrashers managed to come back and beat Boston in a shootout. That puts Atlanta in eighth, Montreal one point back in ninth and our Toronto Maple Leafs four games back in tenth. We're now off to Montreal for two playoff-like games that we must win.

Aleksander Suglobov played his first game in a Leafs uniform and Brendan Bell made his NHL debut putting in a solid 14:00.
