I saw a commercial tonight for "Are We There Yet?", a new PG movie that's safe enough for the whole family. It stars Ice Cube. Ice Cube?!?!?! WTF?
Is that the same Ice Cube I grew up listening to? He was a badass mofo writing songs like "F*ck Tha Police" for N.W.A. before going solo with more hardcore controversy in his rhymes about his life and times. I was a fan of his music and his breakthrough acting role in "Boyz n the Hood", none of which was rated PG, safe enough for the whole family.
What's next, Ice-T as the conductor on "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends"?
