An incredible singer-songwriter and underrated pianist, the secret ingredient on the songs
in which she was allowed to accompany herself. Fave tracks: "Chain of Fools", "Until You Come
Back to Me", and "Rock Steady." R.I.P.

WTF!!: Fox News mistakenly(?) used a photo of Patti Labelle to accompany its story
about the passing of Aretha Franklin. Not the first time this mistake has been made
by a news outlet, I believe. SMH!!!

Just curious, has Molly Johnson been interviewed yet for any of the numerous Aretha Franklin
tributes? After all, it wouldn't be a well-rounded conversation/tribute without her keen observations
on the subject!!

@Mike
Good to know. I hope that with at least ten hours between her appearance on Toronto Mike'd
and the CBC, she was able to both regain her composure and keep the condescension relatively
in check! On another note, any chance that Michael Williams showed up anywhere to offer his
take? Caught him in the aftermath of the deaths of Prince and Maurice White (EWF) and he was
spot-on in his informed analysis.
