I really enjoyed this, more my interests than most guests. Hell I was able to focus on it my entire commute rather than my usual multitasking with podcasts.

I am confused by a 34 year old speaking for millenials though. I'm 35 and I 'feel' somewhere caught between GenX and the millenials, don't relate much to either group. I think coming of age just as the internet was starting to be mainstream, but before video and even music was much available on it (besides midis and mod-formats...) is a big part.

Wikipedia says many consider those born in the early 80s millennials:

It seems I'm married to a millennial!

1980 is generally the start of the millennial range, because they started high school in 1999. I find too there is a tad of a different mindset between say someone born in 1978, who was what, 5 in 1983? - than there was in someone born in 1980. The latter saw less early 80s episodes of Love Boat, Happy Days and shows of that ilk that were holdovers form the 70s. First hand music knowledge of the previous tends to be a tad more extensive too.

For me, it's weird to think that today's 40 year old was a baby when Grease was released. What? You mean you can now be 40 - and yet never walked the earth the same time as Elvis? Man, I'm getting old

Wait, a non jams podcast? Yes! I have no idea who this is but looking forward to listening, it’s been too long

It's actually the second non-KOTJ episode in a row.

I didn’t listen to the Horseshoe one because I’m assuming it’s entirely about music and bands, much like a Jam podcast

I'd like to have you on the podcast to discuss why you so dislike music! :)

March 7, 2018 @ 3:12 PM

You'd probably just try to turn it into a KOTJ podcast (Im joking)

Good news... once you skip today's fun KOTJ with Troy, there are four non-KOTJ episodes scheduled in a row.

What is your favourite song of all time?

Very enlightening if somewhat personally depressing show for me. Nice to learn about the Girth
Radio Network, but I'm probably too much of a coward to go down there and make my own
podcast pitch!!!
