My friend Elvis is giving me a hard time because I watched ice dancing this past weekend. Damn right I did. I'm not ashamed to admit I watch ice dancing every four years.
Heck, I just watched women luging. Outside of the Olympics, I wouldn't dream of watching women luging. Same with speed skating, moguls, bobsledding, skiing, snowboarding, figure skating, curling, biathlons and skeleton. Now that I think of it, the only winter Olympic sport I actually watch outside of the Olympics is hockey.
But every four years, I'll watch it all. I watch everything, including ice dancing.
And I apologize to no one.
