I can't help but think that alleged affair with Roger Clemens when she was underaged reflected on her sense of self worth.

This is gonna make me sound like an ass and a half, but I sort of saw this one coming. She released two or three decent albums, but after that, the only time she was really in the news was after she'd lost it. In and out of rehab, charged with asault, and yeah that mess with Clemens. And that's just what I can remember off the top of my head. she was good at what she did. She just seemed to forget what that was.

It's sad indeed. She was a great singer. I can't help bawling my eyes out here. She did a very stupid thing committing suicide. It's awful. She will never make another album. I have all her stuff, everything I could get my hands on.

Sad when they peak so early and the demons take over. Lovely voice.

@Cheryl

I will never report someone's death as a joke.

This is a surprise to anyone?
Her life was a constant train wreck of drug abuse,court battles, family turmoil.
Tragic yes, but hardly unexpected after numerous failed attempts over the years and her BF taking the same way out, less than a month ago.

Save your tears.

Well, this is sad. I know she didn't do anything for a while, but she was a great singer. I loved that voice. I thought maybe she would start singing again. This was such a shock to me and it's sad. It really is. I played all her music a good part of yesterday. She should have gotten help, done something.
