Toronto Mike'd Podcast Episode 17Here's the 17th episode of my podcast, Toronto Mike'd. In this episode, Rosie and I chat about the recent Humble and Fred party, the Argos Grey Cup win, Rob Ford, breasts and WKRP. This episode is exactly 1:04:49.

You can listen to this episode in a variety of ways:

It seems the volume of the audio I piped in was too low, so don't adjust your sets if you find the opening theme too quiet.

I shall not complain about the opening theme being too low. It'll save me from skipping over it.

I'll listen to the show throughout the day -- time permitting, of course. And I'm looking forward to it as always.

I always find the opening volume low, but I've learned not to adjust my set.

We'll call this opening a brand new low.

Henceforth I'll start talking earlier in the intro music for y'all.

I love listening to you two "shoot the shit". Interesting discussions!

And I loved WKRP as well. Herb Tarlek FTW.

Firstly, you two have found your groove, despite the volume issue with the opening theme.

Secondly, you make good sense in this episode. I especially liked the buns story.

And Finally, the hour format works for you. I hope you keep it up as I now look forward to spending part of my Wednesday with you two.

Thumbs up. As other mentioned, background music (intro, outro, and in between) was too low. I blame St. Ives for that, because they discontinued their chocolate scented body wash.

This one is probably my favourite one to date. I especially loved Rosie giggling like a school girl on the 'penis' names! So cute.

@Roshan

She calls it a whistle!

@Lorne

I have no idea what I did wrong. It sounded fine in my headset.

Won't happen again!

Oh... and I thought about fixing it with a post-recording edit, but I like it raw, baby!

You know, I think the cable wasn't fully inserted into my MacBook Pro.

Lesson learned.

Another great show and lots of fun listening to the banter. You two have really hit your stride.

I saw WKRP during its original run, and yes, I always wanted to be Dr. Johnny Fever. Howard Hesseman was made for that role.

1 hour is the perfect timeline, great discussion on Rob Ford. Funny I can see your points of view and Freddie P's on Rob Ford, you both make strong arguments to your opinions.
Personally, it would have been better to have him pulled by the electorate during an election and not on some legal technicality which is really going to throw more dirt into the gears of the Nut Hut Shit Show 2, (Toronto City Hall).

Thanks Rick C. - but I don't even want to listen to Mike's opinion on Ford. I like him too much. (like being Mike)
Boon is too left to be logical.

@Ward and Al

I do sell ad space. Contact me for details.

@Rick C.

Freddie P won't listen to this episode. If you notice, he likes his news and views to come from like minded folks at 1010.

I, however, listened to Freddie P's defense of Rob Ford on his podcast.

Yeah, we'd buy ad space...but, since we are on the same podcasting network, we just figured you'd mention us anyway.

Go figure.
