I've seen:

Thor
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Super 8
Green Lantern
The Green Hornet
Cowboys & Aliens
The Green Hornet
Battle: Los Angeles

Before the year is out I think I'm going to see atleast 3 or 4 more from this list. Biggest disappointment was Green Lantern. While Thor was great, I have no intention of watching anything Harry Potter or Twilighty!

i've seen:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Fast Five
Thor
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Captain America: The First Avenger
Bridesmaids
X-Men: First Class
Super 8
Rango
Horrible Bosses
Green Lantern

Highly recommend Rango, Limitless, and Planet of the Apes from among the ones you haven't seen. Annoyed that Source Code didn't crack the top 40. Also, holy crap but Margin Call (nowhere near the top 40) was good. Just saw that a couple nights ago.

I only saw a few of those, and only 1 (The Muppets) did I actually see in the theatre.

Kinda sad to see The Muppets all the way down at #40. I sure hope that wasnt the last of The Muppets.

By the way Mike, I'll help you with this list for next year...

1) The Dark Knight Rises

There is no way that doesnt end up #1 next year.

Yikes.....I have only see 4 of these flicks. I think I spent more time watching box set of TV series. What are you and your readers currently watching via TV series?
Here is a quick review of my movie watches from the list.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes......I am thinking this is a Prequel and I must say I thouroughly(?spelling)enjoyed. I liked the casting and that always helps.

The Help......Loved it. I believe it will clean up at the Oscars. If your wife has not seen it.....make a date and take her. Take your mom too. They will both enjoy.

Bridesmaids......cute.

Cowboys & Aliens....Cheesy at times but a totally interesting concept. Daniel Craig is awesome.
