10 Great One Shot Music Videos

Published by Toronto Mike on December 28, 2010 @ 17:29 in Lists, Videos

videoI was just reading about one shot music videos. These are videos that are made with a single take. I like a lot of one shot music videos, and here are ten of my favourites.

Note: While on YouTube throwing this list together, I noticed a bunch of my favourites had embedding disabled. To punish those acts, they don't get to be on this list. Shame on you, White Stripes.

Lucas With the Lid Off - Lucas

Mad World - Gary Jules

Stay (I Missed You) - Lisa Loeb

Gimme Sympathy - Metric

Here It Goes Again - OK Go

Closing Time - Semisonic

Undone - The Sweater Song - Weezer

1234 - Feist

Kate - Ben Folds Five

Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush

When I saw the title of this post I assumed it was going to be 3 MCs and 1 DJ by the beastie boys and 9 others. Surely that was one of the ones with disabled embedding then???

No love for the Spice Girls?

Shame.

Spice Girls could have made this list... for Scary Spice's nipples alone.

As the Beastie Boys video, it must be one I haven't seen... because the one I've seen isn't one shot.

Ah, it was filmed in one take but not with one camera shot...maybe I misunderstood the question.

Those who disable embedding SHOULD be punished. Morons.
