newspaperBack in the old days, a lazy Sunday morning meant reading the newspaper. Today it means checking Google Reader and reading your RSS feeds. That's what I'm doing, and it's interesting to see how the Toronto Star hedges their bets with regards to Earth Hour.

Firstly, there's this article, entitled Toronto goes dark for Earth hour.

dark

Then, there's this article, entitled Toronto stays bright for Earth Hour.

The Star is like the Liberal Party, the Star doing anything to get readers, and the Liberals doing anything that will get them elected.

Earth Hour is one of those warm and fuzzy things to make us feel good about ourselves, but then there is the reality of do we want to go back to being goat herders and live in the darkness.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. They have stock stories canned/ready to go. Except they accidentally printed both here.
When I worked in radio, we head liners ready for all sorts of big news events, presidents/prime ministers die-ing, one country attacking another, etc. Thank-fully, we never had an accident on that scale!!!
