Mark Linkous was 47. He was the lead singer and multi-instrumentalist for the alternative rock band Sparklehorse.

Such beautiful and ethereal work. Mark's audience hasn't even been born yet. He'll be rediscovered in twenty years like Nick Drake, a song that everyone will hum after seeing a Volkswagon commercial.
